The envy of other athletes, swimmers typically wrap up their major Games galas early and start letting their hair down while everyone else is still in monastic competition mode.
Contrast their hedonistic lot with the rugby 7s players at this Asian Games: “on edge, practising and a bit nervous”, according to Chloe Chan, as they impatiently wait to join the party on Thursday.
